Yangon - Bago / Twante - Yangon

Day-1 (Arrival)

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, our representative would welcome and transfer to hotel. After check-in at the hotel, have lunch at Chinese restaurant. In the evening, visit to the most magnificent and massive Shwedagon Pagoda, the world famous Buddhist religious monument. Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel.

Day-2 (Yangon-Bago-Yangon)

After early breakfast at the hotel, full day seat in coach excursion to an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom, Bago (the Hansawaddy Dynasty). On the way, observe the World War Two Cemetery at Htaukkyant. Proceed to Kyaikpun the four sided huge Buddha images. Continue to Shwemawdaw, Shwethalyaung (a huge reclining Buddha image). After lunch at local restaurant, sightseeing continues to Bago market where Myanmar traditional cheroot industry is. Observe the Buddhism ways of living in Bago and environ. Return back to Yangon. Enjoy dinner and sunset at Chinese restaurant on Nanthida Jetty. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-3 (Yangon-Twante-Yangon)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to jetty for boat trip to rural Yangon. Located on the other side of the Yangon River, Twante village has very much retained its original character. Transfer to the jetty and take a special charter ferry boat along the river and Twante Canal. Tour proceed to Twante, on the way sightseeing at, Baungdaw Choke Pagoda also known as snake temple. City tour with pony cart around the town it will be interesting ride, which provides a glimpse of life on and along the famous Twante Canal. After a visit to Shwesandaw Pagoda to the pottery area where a large part of the population in Twante is engaged in producing pottery. Walking through the many workshops where locals are busy moulding pots, we will be able to observe this very traditional craft. Transfer to jetty for return back to Yangon by ferry boat. Overnight stay at the hotel, Yangon.

Day-4 (Departure)

After breakfast at the hotel, shopping to Bogyoke Market (formerly known as Scott Market). Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure flight.
